This is an emotional post… but I really wanted to share because I know others have experienced what I’ve gone through and I want to be able to help and motivate where I can.
Sometimes, when I reach goals or experience new highs, it makes me reflect on the lows. I think this is normal with grief but it definitely doesn’t make it any easier.
Teaching at Edge was a huge milestone for me, especially because NYC is where I built my business. I have so many emotions tied to this city- especially those surrounding the loss of my dad when I was 22. However, this city truly made me who I am today, in the best way.
I’m so thankful for my family and what is to come next. And if I’m ever down, I always remind myself of Isaiah 61:3, God promised beauty for ashes 💝
